韩国年轻帅气的小伙子东河（郑宇成 饰）来到中国四川成都出差，在游览杜甫草堂时偶遇留学时相识的中国同学五月（高圆圆 饰），后者目前在杜甫草堂从事讲解工作。这次相遇，让两人的心再次碰撞出爱情的火花。他们回忆着生日派对的誓言、彼此亲昵的举动，甚至是关于自行车的留恋，但是两人却给出了不同的版本。他们相约在雨夜，共同品尝中国的菜肴。然而，当他对她主动作出爱的表白时，她却左躲右闪。由于公司安排，东河要离开中国。在雨中，他挽着她的手翩翩起舞，但是气氛似乎显得过于沉静，以至于他开始怀疑自作动情。但是，一场机场送别却让两人重新敞开了心扉……
